two new goats

We got two more goats.  One is Nubian and one is LaMancha, Lacey and Sadey.

Rental house

I have spent the last month cleaning and painting a rental house.  It was left a mess and it took a long time, but it sure looks sweet now.  Here are some before and after pictures!

The Wedding

The happy couple and the happy family.  Notice in the family picture the faces form a heart.  The wedding was lovely and we all had a good time celebrating.

MerryBell and Cookie

Well, I guess it's official.  We are goat people.  Today we added two purebred Nubian does to our little herd.  There was quite some commotion when we introduced them to Trixie and Honey.  I hope they figure it out fast and become friends.  The new goats are MerryBell (the black one) and Cookie (the brown one).  They already had names when we got them.  I included the last picture to show the difference in size.  MerryBell and Cookie are much larger than Honey and Trixie.

Family - New Additions

We are getting a new addition to our family.  Actually, we are getting three new additions to our family.  Welcome!

Hay Barn - More Progress

As of June 11th.  All sides are done, however we encountered another challenge with the roof.  The metal sheets are too short!  They say measure twice, cut once, and I thought I had measured twice.  Something went wrong and the sheets are about 4 inches too short.  Mike will have to fabricate something to make it all work.  All in all, we have made terrific progress.

Hay Barn - Making Progress

As of June 9th.
